The annual Pilgrim Fathers lecture commemorates the Pilgrim Fathers voyage to America in 1620 and embodies the themes of freedom and human rights.
The lecture, organised by the Plymouth Law Society and hosted by Plymouth University and Plymouth City Council, has become a celebrated annual event in the legal profession calendar, attracting current and past Lord Chancellors, Lord Justices of Appeal and Lords of Appeal.
"It was an inspirational lecture- we were clearly in the presence of a great legal mind. Lord Judges post lecture mingling with the students was very welcome. Overall all it was a privilege to have attended the lecture."
"A professional, well-managed and well prepared event. It was a true honour to attend and meet Lord Judge. Easy registering and smooth registration meant that the evening went off without any problems and from what I could see all enjoyed it."
