Welcome to MarCoPol

The aim of the Centre for Marine and Coastal Policy Research (MarCoPol) is to provide a sound scientific, social, legal and economic basis for improved policy and management for the sustainable use and protection of the marine and coastal environment.
 
MarCoPol brings together academics from the fields of policy, sociology, economics, law, business and ecology, making it a truly interdisciplinary research centre.

2nd MarCoPol Forum 2014

The 2nd Marine and Coastal Policy Forum will take place on the 18-20th June 2014 in Plymouth, UK. The event will provide an inclusive forum for policy-makers, policy-influencers, practitioners, regulators, and researchers to discuss contemporary issues surrounding the management of the marine and coastal environment.

Call for abstracts closes on the 3rd March 2014.
