​The Graduate School at Plymouth University is committed to ensuring that research students have an excellent learning experience, are involved in a research community and supported in their studies.

​Student Log Book

The Research Student Log Book aims to help you acquire all the skills necessary to become a proficient researcher and to embark on a professional career. It has been designed to help you reflect on your development, check your progress and to assist discussion with your supervisors. A version for part-time students is also available.

Hard copies of the logbooks are available upon request.
 

​Research Degrees Handbook

The Research Degrees Handbook has been produced to provide information and guidance for research degree candidates and their supervisors, which includes the rules governing the registration as well as guidance through the registration process.

If you download an electronic copy, to locate a particular section of the handbook, click on the appropriate chapter in the contents list to move to the part you wish to refer to.
