The Graduate School holds two welcome events each year for new postgraduate research students, one in October and one in April.

Our next Induction session will take place on Wednesday 25th April 2012. All new postgraduate research students will be invited to attend.

There will be opportunities to talk to representatives from a wide variety of student support services and a welcome from both the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and Head of the Graduate School and Director of Graduate Studies, Professor Mick Fuller.

This is also an opportunity to meet other new research students, join the Postgraduate Society, learn about regulations and procedures, and start to think about your professional development. Each induction event ends in a student forum organised by the Postgraduate Society.
