ESF Scholarships

Postgraduate Scholarship Opportunities in Cornwall

 

There are a number of generous ESF-CUC Scholarships available to support students resident in Cornwall to undertake Masters level postgraduate research programmes and some specific postgraduate taught programmes starting in September and October 2012.
 
The awards are part funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) through the Combined Universities in Cornwall Research Programme and are therefore only open to Home/EU Nationals resident in Cornwall.

 

SUBJECT SPECIFIC SCHOLARSHIPS

There are scholarships of £3,500 available for the following programmes

  • MSc Sustainable Construction     
    Three years by blended and distance learning. 
    (The ESF funding will only be available during 2012/2013 and 2013/2014)

  • Environmental & Marine Sciences subjects
    Available for the following programmes where the research projects are based in Cornwall:
    • MRes Marine Renewable Energy
    • MRes Applied Marine Science
    • MRes Applied Environmental Management
    • MRes Marine Biology

    Full-time one year.  Taught and research project based masters.

RESEARCH MASTERS (ResM) SCHOLARSHIPS

There are scholarships of £3,500 available to support ResM projects undertaken with companies or organisations in Cornwall. 

General details on the ResM programme are available here. Specific ResM opportunities will be advertised from May 2012 on www.plymouth.ac.uk/postgradresearch/pgresearchstudentships.
