Activity suggestions

The following are examples of established activities which give an idea of the range of activities under each heading. These lists are not exhaustive. If any student is engaged in extra-curricular activities that they wish to have considered as counting towards the Plymouth Award, they should email: plymouthaward@plymouth.ac.uk  with details of the activity, and the activity coordinator who can verify the hours completed.
Minimum requirements

The Award requires students to complete at least 20 hours in each of their 3 chosen areas and the total hours of activities should be more than 80. Although no extra credit is given for hours over and above the minimum, the quality of learning is significantly improved and this will show in careers interviews and in the quality of the reflective portfolio. (It is also true that the more you put in the more you get back, particularly in terms of personal growth and development.)
