Exchange opportunities with Plymouth University

Plymouth University currently offers student exchange opportunities with partner universities in Europe and North America through Erasmus and ISEP respectively. Please be aware that eligibility criteria does apply for placements and exchanges - to find out whether you may meet this criteria, please contact the international office.

Our European exchange schemes are offered with the support of the Commission of the European Community within the Framework of the Erasmus Action in the Life Long Learning Programme. If you are a Socrates or Erasmus student, please contact the Socrates Coordinator in your institution or email socrates@plymouth.ac.uk for guidance on how to apply.

Exchanges

Plymouth University offers many exchange links worldwide, either through organisations or directly with specific institutions, and either across many subject areas or individual courses. More information about the current exchange opportunities can be found by selecting current exchange opportunities

Incoming students

Plymouth University is a recognised institution in the ERASMUS programme, and has links with universities across Europe. We also send and receive students on exchange with North American universities through the ISEP programme. Further information on both of these schemes, and more detail on how to apply, can be found by selecting incoming students.

For students wishing to study at Plymouth but not as part of the named programmes we advise that you enquire about the opportunities using the contact details located on the web page for their chosen course.

Outgoing students

Experiencing life in another country can be very rewarding, and taking part in an exchange programme is a great way to live in another country whilst you are studying. It provides an opportunity to see your academic subject from another perspective, as well as meeting different people and experiencing new things. Plymouth undergraduates who would like to study abroad as part of their degree can find further information and useful links by selecting outgoing students

Information for incoming academics

This information is relevant to all academics at Socrates exchange partner institutions who intend to visit Plymouth University on a Socrates Teaching Staff Exchange. Find out more by selecting incoming academics.
