Inviting Friends and Family from Overseas

You may to wish to invite friends or family from overseas to enjoy your Graduation day with you.

EU or EEA Nationals
If the friends or family members that you are inviting to come and visit are EU or EEA (European Economic Area) nationals they do not need any special documents to come and visit you.

They will be able to enter the country using their European Passport and stay in the UK for any period of time.

Non EU/EEA Nationals
If the friends or family members that you are inviting are not EU/EEA nationals, they will more than likely need to obtain permission to enter the UK as a Family or General Visitor for their trip.

Dress Code

Graduation ceremonies are formal occasions and we recommend that candidates should dress smartly. We do not consider jeans and t-shirts are appropriate dress for graduation.

We welcome national dress for our international students.
