Getting to the venue

​Graduation Park and Ride - 'The George junction' at Roborough

Both the University and the City are committed to a green travel policy.  As a result of this we have agreed that we will not bring additional traffic into the city centre on ceremony days. 
 
To facilitate this a free park and ride service will operate from the George Junction Park and Ride at Roborough (PL6 7HB).
 
If you are travelling to Plymouth on the A38 please follow the yellow AA signs which will direct you to the Park and Ride.  Take the 'Manadon' exit from the A38.
 
The buses will take you directly to the Hoe just 50 metres walk on a flat surface from the marquees.  You do not need a ticket as the buses will be clearly marked “GRADUATION ONLY"   Please do not board any of the regular park and ride buses in operation. 
 
The service will operate approximately every 20 minutes starting at 0730 with the last bus leaving Plymouth Hoe at 1830 each day.
 
There is no charge for the Park and Ride service.

Parking

We strongly recommend that you use the park and ride.  However, should you decide to drive into the City Centre you should use the Toys R Us car park on Western Approach and walk to the Hoe. Parking charges are approximately £12 per day.  On street parking near Plymouth Hoe is predominantly residents only permit parking and we would advise against that option.
 
 
Disabled parking is available on the Hoe for blue badge holders only.
