Motivate, Generate, Activate
Plymouth University has been successful in securing £300,759 in National Lottery funding through Sport England. The funding will assist in delivering the project ‘Motivate, Generate and Activate. The project will both increase student participation and sustainability through sport and physical activity. Sport and Coaching Activators will support each faculty to enhance the participation of those who do not engage with Sport and Physical activity.
The project is funded until July 2014 and will provide various opportunities for students through volunteering, community sports clubs, taster sessions, training for an event in Plymouth, coaching qualifications, sports and activities based on student need and socialising with students in different schools or faculties through friendly competitions.
