​If you are looking for a church we have a list of some of the many churches in Plymouth.  This list is not comprehensive, as there are over 100 in the local area.  The ones we have listed are closest to the city centre and the student communities. 

All churches welcome students, and some have special student events.  For more information, please contact us or contact particular churches where the details are provided.

St Andrews

St AndrewsA lively evangelical Anglican church, seeking to live for, worship and proclaim Jesus Christ in the city centre.

St Matthias

St Matthias Church A relaxed family evangelical   church, rooted in scripture and living worship that honours God.

St Judes

St JudesAn open, evangelical, mildly
charismatic anglican church going through big changes, with a focus on young people.

Mutley Baptist Church

Mutley Baptist ChurchA church in the community, for the community.

Christ the King Catholic Chaplaincy

Christ the King Catholic ChaplaincyA warm and friendly student orientated Catholic Church, which serves the community and has fun!

The Roman Catholic Cathedral
The Roman Catholic CathedralA place to come and understand deeply the faith which we profess.

Plymouth Methodist Central Hall

Plymouth Methodist Central HallA large family orientated church in the city centre, beside Drake Circus.

X:alt - Young Adults' Bible Study
A group for students and young adults where we look at what the Bible has to say for us today.  We meet every other Wednesday in JC's at 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Waterfront City Church

Waterfront City ChurchA lively and predominantly youthful part of the Newfrontiers family of churches.

 Sunday Services:

10.30am: Worship
The largest group in the church are the 18 to 30s, compromising of students and young couples/families.  We have a dedicated team to welcome students and help them integrate into the life and ministry of Waterfront.

Greek Orthodox Church

Plymouth Christian CentreAn Elim Pentecostal church which exists to love and serve the people of Plymouth and to enable them to wholeheartedly follow Christ.

After the Sunday evening service Students and young people meet at a nearby house for tea and toast.  We also run an 'Adopt a Student'.  On Wednesday there is a small group for students at 7pm at a nearby cafe.
