Student Hardship Fund

ABOUT THE FUND

You can leave your mark for future students by contributing to the University's Student Hardship Fund. This Fund provides emergency hardship support for current students who are at risk of withdrawing from study due to financial pressures.

Students who are in significant hardship, either because of extra costs they have to meet, or due to an unexpected shortfall in income, can receive awards of just a few hundred pounds that can make all the difference in enabling them to continue in their University education.

The University's Student Funding Unit use a means-tested system to identify the most deserving recipients, ensuring that funds are allocated fairly to those in the most serious need of support.

We are dedicated to providing a springboard of a qualification from Plymouth University to all those students who are capable of achieving it; and are determined to make the maximum effort to help those whose financial situation would be the reason for withdrawing from study.

If you would like to be part of helping to secure someone else's future, now that you are making your way in the world, please make your donation today. Everyone penny you give will go directly to benefiting today's students.
