We would recommend that every student reads the following information:

Disclosure for Applicants

If you are offered an academic place at Plymouth University we will kindly request that you complete the pro forma below and return to us as soon as possible. The information that you provide will help us establish the best way to support you during your time at University, but without it please be aware that your support may be affected.

Sarah Warn Disability Adviser for Admissions

Admissions

Plymouth University welcomes applications from suitably qualified disabled people. All applications are considered on academic grounds.
If you have a disability or medical condition please make sure that you have completed the disability coding box on the application form. In most cases this is the UCAS form. With this information we can work together to make informed agreements about the support you may need. We can also liaise with others who should know about the affects of your disability, such as staff in the department where you will be studying and the examinations office.
It is important to understand the value of declaring your disability. If we do not know about it, the University may not be able to offer you the support you require. Although it is advisable to declare your disability when applying, you can let Disability ASSIST know at any stage of your course.

Progression students

If you are completing your course at Plymouth University, you will need to make sure your support is set up as soon as possible. You will also need to reapply for DSA. Please contact Disability ASSIST directly for full details.
