Special Study Units (SSU): BMBS

SSUs give you the chance to choose certain subjects to study in depth and build up into your own unique and varied range of interests. There are literally hundreds of SSU options to choose from covering a wide variety of modern health care disciplines, including:

SSUs cover the whole 5-year BMBS degree and give you the chance to work with the NHS, university staff and the community. Over time they help equip you with the professional attitudes, knowledge and skills you need for a truly successful transition from medical student to doctor, teacher and lifelong learner.
