Course Summary

This Foundation Degree covers a broad range of interesting and engaging modules that will expose students to the fascinating branches of bioscience including human physiology, genetics, microbiology, biochemistry and plant biology and ecology.. Students will develop a strong and critical understanding of key biological principles and practical techniques that will equip them with the skills required for further study or employment.
Cornwall’s diverse ecology, agriculture and aquaculture lend itself to the study of Bioscience and its applications. The county also provides a stunning and vibrant backdrop to University level study. Students will discover topics ranging from the molecular and cellular to whole organisms and their environments; supported by excellent quality teaching and pastoral provision, encouraging growth and development in all our undergraduates.
