PODIATRY: CAREER OPTIONS
Information provided by our Careers & Employability Service.
Mandy, our Careers Adviser for Podiatry, says:
"Foot and lower limb health and well being is vital in our communities so there are many settings where graduate podiatrists can work. Most will work for the NHS, in private practice, locum practice or become self employed. Less well known but emerging fields include the leisure industry, sports injuries, forensic podiatry, occupational health and in the retail field. Some will find opportunities with footwear manufacturers. After gaining experience, some podiatrists undertake research or look at teaching their subject in HE."
Visit the Plymouth University Careers website for more information on any of these areas, or call in to see the Careers & Employability Team in Gateway in the Roland Levinsky Building.
