Shipping

BSc (Hons) International Supply Chain and Shipping Management

Study a maritime subject in a city with a famous maritime history. This one-year course is an additional top-up degree, which on successful conclusion at an appropriate level allows entry onto the Masters degrees in International Shipping, International Logistics, Port Management and International Supply Chain Management. It contains all the four subjects of the current Masters portfolio. It is appropriate for students who have undertaken an appropriate Foundation Degree or have industrial experience linked to vocational qualifications. The course is linked and taught with stage 3 of the undergraduate course in Maritime Business and Logistics.

There is an active alumni association, the Plymouth Nautical Degree Association (PYNDA ) which meets regularly and forms a network of students with maritime qualifications.

Many of the International Shipping and Logistics courses  are accredited by the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
 
The nature of the subject attracts a wide international student body that is also reflected in the composition of the International Shipping and Logistics staff.
