​Business Management with Business English

This course is a one year top-up course and is designed as a 'top-up' for students who have already successfully completed study equivalent to Level 5 such as a Foundation Degree or HND.

​Meet the tutor - Diane Garland

Diane Garland is a valued member of the Plymouth Business School and an experienced Programme Manager. Diane has acted as Programme Manager for the Business Management with Business English top-up degree for 5 years. She also acts in the capacity of Programme Manager for the Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and lectures at both undergraduate and post graduate level in Human Resource Development and Organisational Behaviour. Diane has had a number of journal articles published on the area of team working, having worked with both multi-national and regional organisations.

Entry requirements

An equivalent to Stage 2 in any relevant business subject (Personnel Management, Economics, Accounting, Marketing or Operations Management). 

IELTS score of 6.0 overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in listening, reading, speaking and writing).
