What our students say

"I chose Plymouth due to its good reputation within the shipping industry, and the contribution made by the staff to the maritime community. Since beginning University I have completed a number of industry work experience placements. These have varied from large International shipping companies, to small local companies operating in the wider maritime industry, and have provided the opportunity to build upon, and develop skills gained at University.

I found the quality and standard of teaching on the course very high. The course lecturers had an excellent balance of industry experience which undoubtedly benefited the programme."
