Summary

​This one-year degree has been specifically designed for students who have successfully gained a Foundation degree/HND in a sport or health-related subject and would like to continue academic study to a degree level.
 
This degree will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to work in a variety of health and sports settings.

​Assessment

This degree is assessed through coursework and examination using a variety of methods including a portfolio of evidence, seminar presentations, essays, case studies, literature reviews and a project.

Students working in the laboratorySPORTS SCHOLARSHIPS

Plymouth University offers annual Sports Scholarships to students who represent their county nationally or internationally in a recognised sport. The scholarships are renewable subject to the student maintaining an appropriate level of performance.

There are three types of scholarships: Drake, Gold and Silver. The Drake and Gold Award is worth up to £1,500 per year with the Silver Award up to £600 per year. The Drake Scholarship is awarded for marine sports only and is worth up to £1,500
