What the students say

Rupert Lorraine"Visiting the University at an open day, I knew immediately that I wanted to study at Plymouth; there was such a great atmosphere, and the location was perfect with the coasts of Devon and Cornwall right on the doorstep! I recently returned to work at the University of Plymouth as Knowledge Exchange Manager for the Peninsula Research Institute for Marine Renewable Energy (PRIMaRE), one of the South West’s flagship renewables projects. I have also been working on the creation of a new high-performance sailing brand which aims to develop innovative products for competitive sailors looking to gain an edge on the water."

What the students say

Marine Sports Technology is a great course and I would wholeheartedly say that the time I spent at the University of Plymouth was 100% worth it. I went to university for several reasons but mainly to give myself a qualification that would enable me to get employment within the marine industry.

What the students say

Without a doubt, my course helped me hugely.  It allowed me to gain insight into a vast range of marine technology subjects, some of which I never knew existed. The knowledge and the skills that I have learned on the course have made me extremely employable, so much so that I have had to turn down job offers.
