​Programme overview

The programme provides flexible learning suitable for a wide range of practitioners with an interest in applied health who wish to extend their knowledge and/or practice to advance health and/or social care.

The Applied Health Studies programme is unique in that it allows students to create their own learning pathways through the selection of modules from the Inter-professional Masters Scheme, offered by the Faculty of Health, Education and Society.

As an inter-professional programme, students from a variety of backgrounds will access the programme.

​Entry requirements

Normally a first-level degree or equivalent that would include a professional qualification.  It is usually expected that students would have at least two years professional work experience. However, each potential student will be assessed individually for their ability to study at this level.
