You should normally hold a first degree or equivalent qualification and hold first registration with a professional body, such as the Nursing and Midwifery Council or the Health Professions Council.

Applicants with overseas qualifications can check their compatibility with the UK equivalent through NARIC, who provide an advisory service.

English language requirement

If your first language is not English then evidence of English proficiency is required. The level of proficiency that is required can vary with the type of programme for which you are applying.
