This programme offers a unique opportunity to existing practitioners or individuals with aspirations to develop their careers within the creative and cultural industries, to continue their creative practice developments, embed good business practice and consider enterprise opportunities.

ICCI logoICCI have worked closely with other Faculty of Arts staff to create this flexible masters programme which offers progression opportunities to a diverse range of individuals that have existing careers, or aspire to have careers, within the broad range of opportunities encompassed by the Creative and Cultural Industries.

The programme provides an exciting platform for individuals to extend their creative and cultural practise alongside the investigation and application of the essential skills associated with good business practice, enterprise development and entrepreneurship.

The Future of Publishing programme

Do you want to find out how to make money from digital? Learn from some of the most innovative digital publishing projects? Network with colleagues in the publishing industry and beyond?
The Future of Publishing programme aims to support businesses as they face the rapid innovations and developments of the publishing industry, identifying the key challenges faced by the businesses looking to grow in the sector. As well as sharing knowledge, the programme will continue to research, test and disseminate the best models for continuing collaborative communities and knowledge sharing between people involved in the future of publishing. The Future of Publishing programme is supported by NESTA , Plymouth University, Cyprus Well and iNET .​

​Entry requirements

For entry to postgraduate level, applicants should normally possess:
  • appropriate professional experience in a creative or cultural context; or
  • a first or upper second (2:1) degree with honours or professional qualification, recognised as being equivalent to degree standard; or
  • an ordinary degree, foundation degree, higher national diploma, or university diploma, accompanied by substantial experience in an appropriate field.
  • Applicants with overseas qualifications can check their comparibility with the UK equivalent through NARIC, who provide an advisory service.

English language requirement

If your first language is not English then evidence of English proficiency is required. The level of proficiency that is required can vary with the type of programme for which you are applying. For further advice on the appropriateness of overseas qualification and proficiency in the use of English, please contact our International Office.
The minimum IELTS score for acceptable English proficiency for entry is normally 6.5.

Duration

1 year full time or 2/3 years part time.
