Entry requirements

You will require a degree or a diploma in Occupational Therapy.
 
Overseas students must be educated at a school recognised by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) and meet the University's English language requirements.
 
Please note - When sending your application form please include a short piece of writing which can either be a piece of written work that you have completed recently or a short essay (approx. 800 words) to the title of: "Discuss the opportunities and threats currently pertinent to your profession".
 
Applicants with overseas qualifications can check their compatibility with the UK equivalent through NARIC, who provide an advisory service.
 
English language requirement
 
If your first language is not English then evidence of English proficiency is required. The level of proficiency that is required can vary with the type of programme for which you are applying. For further advice on the appropriateness of overseas qualification and proficiency in the use of English, please contact our International Office.
