You've received your results

This day is a big event for all the family, it is therefore important that we provide you with all the information you need so you are prepared for any outcome.

Results day signals the time to check if your place at Plymouth University has been confirmed.  We recommend that you do this online through our application tracker or through UCSA Track.  If you have applied for halls, you can also find out if your student accommodation application has been successful.

If you have missed out on your expected grades by only a few points, you may still be able to get a place on the course of your choice at the university you have applied to.
Alternatively, you can apply for vacancies through Clearing.

Confirm your place

The Plymouth application tracker will be available from Monday 6 August.

For enquiries before this date, please contact the admissions team.

ACCOMMODATION

If you have not yet applied for accommodation, our Accommodation Office hold a Find a Home Event in the summer offering you the opportunity to network with other students and find accommodation.

Start Your Journey with Plymouth University

clearing

If you were unsuccessful in securing a university place, we suggest using Clearing to find an alternative solution. Check for course vacancies and make an application using UCAS.

Visit our Clearing pages for our step by step guide to the Clearing process.

If you are joining us through Clearing, you may not have had the opportunity to visit Plymouth University and have a look around.  Attend a Clearing open day, view our virtual tour and campus videos, plus join some of the online social networks. Don't miss out on being part of our applicant community!

POINTS TO REMEMBER

  • If you are eligible for Clearing, an 'Add Clearing choice' button will appear on your Track 'choices'.
  • The main thing is not to worry - if you don’t get on to the course you applied for, start thinking about what other courses you might like to do and contact the universities/colleges to see if they have any vacancies.
  • You can only apply for one course at a time, so it is important to call the university first to ensure that there are places available on the course of your choice and that you meet the grades required for entry onto that course.
  • Admissions staff will want to talk to you in person.
