Many alumni play an active role in helping to support Plymouth University, and if you'd like to be involved in shaping the future of generations of Plymouth alumni, there are plenty of ways you can get involved!

Enhance your professional skills, meet current students and fellow alumni, act as an ambassador for the University and have an enjoyable and rewarding experience!

OVIDE A WORK PLACEMENT OR INTERNSHIP
 
Offer a work placement to current students, provide a graduate internship, or promote a job vacancy
using the help of our excellent Careers and Employability Service.
 
If you are in a postition to help a current student or recent graduate get started on their career path, please contact us and we will put you in touch with the relevent area.

SPEAK TO CURRENT STUDENTS

Share the knowledge and experience you've gained since graduating with our current students. The University run a number of events throughout the year, from Employability workshops to sector-specific careers-fairs. Let us know your area of expertise and we'll match you up with an event accordingly, or organise a special session for you to deliver a guest lecture.

JOIN THE ALUMNI CAREERS NETWORK

This online service allows students and alumni to log in to a secure area where they can search through alumni profiles and contact individuals with specific career-related questions.

If you would like to share your knowledge with your successors, sign up via our members' area Web Connect.

HOST AN EVENT

We organise a variety of alumni events throughout the year, both in the UK and overseas. International alumni volunteers help us provide networking opportunities overseas, and volunteers in the UK can assist with organising sector-specific events or providing a great venue. Get in touch to let us know how you can help!

Supply a written profile and recent photo so we can showcase what you've achieved since earning your Plymouth degree, to inspire both current and prospective students.

To help equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to graduate as well-rounded, empowered and employable graduates. There are a number of mentoring programmes across the University, offering you the chance to make a real difference to current students.

MAKE A DONATION

Our 150th anniversary year sees us campaigning to raise 150 new student scholarships that reward academic excellence, provide hardship support and acknowledge extra-curricular achievement. If you'd like to contribute to a scholarship, you can make a donation online at www.plymouth.ac.uk/donate.
